What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. You probably have seen this three-letter acronym in the course of your internet surfing. RSS is a means of publicizing updates about websites. In simple term, your website visitor can see the latest updates on the other person’s site for the update automatically feeds into your own site. It can also be used in informing you and others whatever is going on. RSS feeds can also prove as the most useful to the subscriber who feels like subscribing to the important update from their privileged site or blog.

RSS feed readers gather updated information from sites and blogs. This program then republishes the latest and updated information on more user-friendliness format to the subscriber. In simple words all the weblog’s and all websites newly published articles or posts will all come in one place for the subscriber to read. Nowadays, almost all the blogging services provide a RSS feed for your subscriber or readers. Furthermore, if you'll check into it you will notice the feed is already on your blog and you do not have to do anything. However, if your blogging service does not provide RSS feeds for your subscriber than you can use your search engine to find one. Most of these services are free, and will provide you not only with an icon for your blog, but with several amenities such as, statistics. These benefits will give you detailed information about your readership, such as visitors, returning visitors, page hits, and reader's country or region.

Luckily, finding a RSS Reader is not hard task. Most popular browsers such as Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox have built-in RSS Readers option. However, if you are using a different browser, which does not support a RSS Reader option, there are several options to choose from and most are free. Type into your search engine "Free RSS Reader" and find one, which will serve your desire purposes. Once you have a reader, than you can begin subscribing to all your favorite blogs and websites.
